Become a friend
The garden is run and managed by volunteers, and members will play an active part in helping with this, so before you apply, please ask yourself :
- Whether you have the time, commitment and energy to care for a plot in all seasons, following organic principles?
- If you are happy to help run the garden by attending work days, and helping with practical jobs and events?
If you answer yes to both of these, then you sound like just the sort of person we’re looking for!
Membership
You can choose from two types of membership:
Keyholder
for those who don't want to take on the responsibility of looking after their own plot. Keyholders will have access to the garden, and although they won’t have their own plot they will be expected to help out with the general maintenance and running of the garden. Keyholder membership is £10 annually.
Plotholder
if you would like to look after your own plot as well as help out with the rest of of the garden. Plotholder membership is limited to those who live in the catchment area and costs £15 annually.
The application form for membership is available to download for printing. All members will have to agree to abide by the garden rules and membership policies, copies of which are also available for downloading.
