What has London’s wildlife done for us?

Wednesday 9th May, 7.00 to 9.00

Tim Webb of the RSPB celebrates London’s wildlife. KHWG is, says Tim, a fabulous pocket of creative community spirit, which he dreams of replicating across the capital. Creating and maintaining green spaces like KHWG directly benefits those involved, but its impact runs far deeper, with the shrubs, soil, walls, plants and woodland all contributing to cleaner air, a more comfortable mini-climate, urban drainage and water capture, and supporting a vast number of bugs, bats, birds and other wildlife. Inspired by what he has seen in King Henry’s Walk, Tim is working with a variety of partners to “green” London.

Numbers are limited and places must be booked in advance. To book, please email your name, telephone contact number and number of places required to rsvp@khwgarden.org.uk or phone or text 07901 931018. We suggest a donation of £5 per person towards the costs of the workshop.
