Six week introduction to beekeeping

Thursdays, 14th June to 19th July, 7.00 to 8.30

Alessia Bolis and Ian Bailey manage beehives in several London sites including Hackney City Farm. This will be their fourth season of running bee courses at KHWG. This course is for people who are very interested in beekeeping. It will cover setting up a hive and doing regular inspections, working with bees and bee health. It will combine theory with practical work on King Henry’s Walk Garden hives.

Last year’s trainee beekeepers were very enthusiastic about the course: “A terrific course and venue”; “Very high quality of instruction”; “Loved it and can’t wait to do it again”.

Numbers are limited to 8 and places must be booked in advance. To book, please email your name, telephone contact number and number of places required to rsvp@khwgarden.org.uk, phone or text 07901 931018, or click here to book online. Cost: £75 (£35 concessions), payable in advance.
