King Henry’s Walk Garden
11c King Henry's Walk
Volunteer work sessions take place once a month, from 9am to 12.00.
There are a few important jobs coming up very soon, that will require as many hands as possible, so this month we’ve scheduled three full-day sessions. We will be there all day until completion, but even if you can only spare a couple of hours or so, that will be really appreciated.
Jobs to do in February include hedge laying, some rearrangement of the planters in front of the building, tree planting and tidying in the woodland, and completion of the bee shed.
All are welcome to join us to help with jobs ranging from weeding to pond maintenance, woodland conservation, and construction tasks.
Tools, gloves and training provided – also refreshments, often with home-made cake! No need to book, just turn up.
Work sessions are open to all, not just garden members, but if you are a member, why not take this opportunity to learn about the jobs at the garden, so that you can then carry on with them in your own time when it suits you.
